Have you ever been among a crowd of friends or maybe even some strangers…or in a class or a meeting at work and you wanted desperately to contribute to the conversation…but you were afraid to make a comment?
Have you ever had to make a telephone call and explain what you were looking for…maybe to a department store manager, a clerk, or even the operator who answered the phone, and you found it difficult to hear your own voice out loud, on the telephone?

Or have you ever heard somebody else speak, in public, like one of your favorite teachers or a public figure and you secretly wished you could speak with such ease as they seemed to?

Well I have!  And it was not fun at all!  So I did what I needed to do to get better at public speaking because I refused to stay in a place of fear forever. This course is designed to help anyone who has any fear, hesitation or worry about speaking in public or in front of people anywhere!  It is a confidence-building empowering course, because I learned that some of us just need a little more help in getting started, so that our voices, our thoughts and ideas can be heard – like everyone else’s!

The old saying goes, that ‘Practice makes Perfect’. And I believe that preparation and practice are the key to good public speaking! I can assure you that if you take a chance on this course, you will learn how to prepare and plan what you have to say, practice the best way to say it, and say it, with precision.  And to me, that’s perfect.

JOIN US in this ONLINE 6-week course where we will examine

  1. fears or hesitations about public speaking,
  2. habits developed that might hinder the most effective delivery,
  3. examples and styles of public speaking that are engaging and effective and that appeal to you, and
  4. the ‘art of preparation and practice’ as the secret sauce for any good speaker.

And the BONUS is that we’re going to have a lot of fun along the way!

There is NO COST for this course, as it is a part of an Empowerment Program for those who seek to enhance their academic and professional skills. We want to help you get on your way toward effectively using your voice and your knowledge to enhance the conversation!
